Dating series FBoy Island Australia will return to Binge / Foxtel in 2024.
Abbie Chatfield returns as host of the series in which three women try to discern the “Nice Guys” looking for love from the “FBoys” only there to play the game and take home the cash prize.
Abbie Chatfield said: “I am thrilled to be playing FBoy detective once again and returning to FBoy Island for another season.”
“FBoy Island Australia flips traditional dating formats on its head and amongst all of jokes, laughter and questionable behaviour it’s a show that challenges gender dynamics and encourages men to be accountable for their bad behaviour.”
Alison Hurbert-Burns, Executive Director Binge and Commissioning & Content Foxtel Group said: “The response to season one of FBoy Island Australia was incredible and we can’t wait to take the second season to a whole new level.
“We’re thrilled to welcome back Abbie Chatfield as the host of FBoy Island Australia. Her sense of humour and fresh take on hosting made for fun television and there is no better person to help our three leading ladies navigate the modern dating world.”
Casting is now underway at fboyislandcasting.com.au.
FBoy Island Australia is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia (WBITVP) for Binge. FBoy Island Australia is an original format licensed by WBITVP. Executive producers from WBITVP are Dean Tocchini, Anson Charody-Bognar and Head of Entertainment Caroline Swift, along with Foxtel Group’s Head of Unscripted Originals Howard Myers and Alison Hurbert-Burns.

Spoilers.
We watched season 1, we finished it for trashy people TV. However, why would we watch season 2 after the blatant manipulation by the producers?
Some of the lines talking about challenging male behaviour and (previously) empowering women strike me as quite an overreach. It’s a dating show not the United Nations. It feels to me more like trying to offset criticism.
People love trash bag tv, that’s fine…society needs an escape sometimes
What I don’t enjoy is the medias obsession with Abbie chatfield
I guarantee that news Corp for example do articles about her every day
This makes Love Island and Married At First Sight seem like Shakespeare ….
“Cheeky” is far too jolly a descriptor for what I would have called this demoralising rubbish.
Demoralising? Obviously you didn’t watch it! What was demoralising about this? Were you sad for the chicken nuggets?
Obviously you’ve never picked up a dictionary!
Demoralising as in “morals”, not “morale”.
