“It’s been a privilege”: Tears, laughter as Studio 10 signs off.

10 morning crew bid farewell to viewers after a decade on air.

Studio 10 signed off yesterday with tears, laughter and memories as it reflected on 10 years on air.

“It’s been a privilege for all of us,to do this show for you and we’re so grateful you decided to make us part of your day,” said Angela Bishop.

“During the past 10 years you shared milestone events in our lives, Sarah, Joe, Tristan had babies ….. but we had losses too. My Pete and our Johnno, and maybe some of you were going through that too.

“Your messages us to us we’re precious and we hope we helped you too and brought a little sunshine to your day.”

In the final show former host Sarah Harris also surprised cast disguised as an audience member.

Studio 10 has also been a big supporter of TV Tonight, regularly acknowledging stories broken and sharing them on air.

Thanks and congratulations on a long run.

Summer episodes will continue with highlights and limited new content. 10 is yet to announce the show’s replacement.

  1. Sad that it was the final episode of Studio 10. I really liked the show. And I really hope Channel 10 come up with something good to replace Studio 10, not just rely on news shows because that would be boring. And I hope if they come up with something, it will involve Angela, Jess Eva, Daniel Doody, Tristan and Denise because they been very fun and entertaining to watch on Studio 10.

  2. I would like to see some kind of morning show based on the News , no cooking advice no small talks, just 2h of morning news from Australia and all over the world (politics, weather, entertainment).

  3. If I was ever watching morning FTA TV, then this was my choice of light entertainment. It was a little more unpolished (which was its charm) than the other two options and obviously had less production budget in its later years but it kept me entertained between the infomercials.

    1. Nothing is posted in the ratings topic for last night so far re the numbers of the Final (although this site is on “hiatus”.

It was a good, and emotional, final. Sad to see it go. It was once a great morning show.
