All eyes on midnight in ratings week

NYE topped viewing last week. SBS in striking distance of 10. Seven wins the week.

Week 5 of Summer ratings went to Seven once more, although New Year’s Eve led to an ABC boost.

Midnight Fireworks were the top drawcard for the week at 1.16m metro viewers.

Seven’s Second Test drew up to 560,000.

SBS also saw a lift in numbers, coming within striking distance of 10, as the latter holds off key content for another week.

Seven led across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Nine claimed victory on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. ABC won Sunday and defeated 10 every night.

Nine won Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Seven won Adelaide & Perth.
