Returning: The Dog House

Season 4 of the Animal Welfare League NSW rehoming shelter dogs begins soon.

10’s feelgood pooch show The Dog House is back for a fourth season next month as the Animal Welfare League New South Wales’ (AWLNSW) rehome abandoned, neglected and surrendered animals to new, loving owners.

Since The Dog House Australia launched in 2021, fur-ever homes have been found for over 30 shelter dogs each season, and the latest instalment will be no exception, proving once again that dogs are not just pets; they’re our best friends, partners in crime, and cherished family members.

This season promises to bring even more mischief, mayhem, and moments that will have you reaching for the tissues faster than you can say, “Who’s a good dog?”

7:30pm Thursday February 1 on 10.

  1. I occasionally watch this show and if you are a pet lover, then there is something special about pets and humans forging that connection and living (hopefully) happily ever after. But I do find this show stretches out the story toooooooo long for the most part.

One of my former foster dogs (Dougie) is on “For the Love of Pets” tonight, so I will be interested to see what sort of home he ends up in. I used to call him Dennis the menace, so I hope they knew what they were getting.
