On Monday Married at First Sight topped viewing while the Super Bowl drew a strong daytime crowd.

MAFS pulled 1.43m in National TV Audience.

That was ahead of Nemesis (953,000), Australian Idol (834,000), 7:30 (749,000) and Australian Survivor (569,000).

Later Media Watch averaged 732,00 then Big Miracles (460,000), The Irrational (389,000) and FBI: Most Wanted (184,000 / 139,000).

Although the Super Bowl LVIII topped reach figures its national audience averaged 800,000 which is a very strong result for daytime.

Nine News averaged 1.09m then A Current Affair (1.08m) and Tipping Point (577,000).

Seven News averaged 1.42m with Home & Away at 805,000 then The Chase (681,000).

ABC News averaged 870,000 while a Nemesis: Behind the Scenes drew a late audience of 460,000.

The Project was 340,000 for 10 then 10 News First (319,000) and Deal or No Deal (273,000).

On SBS it was SBS World News (203,000 / 148,000),  Isle of Wight: Jewel of the South (96,000) Building The Snowy (88,000) and Celebrity Letters & Numbers (82,000).

  1. I think the reason why the Super Bowl ratings were very high was because of the intense match between the Chiefs and 49ers. (I didn’t watch that game as I drove home from volunteering), but the extra interest might have been due to the hype of Taylor Swift’s partner, Travis Kelce (who was in the Chiefs winning side).

  2. Have they changed numbers reporting again? Seemed in the first week of the new reporting everything was easily getting over 1M views, even 2M, and now it looks like we’re back to the old numbers under 1M…
