The Matchmakers: Feb 28

Final SBS episode concludes with an update on how many successful matches the matchmakers have put together.

In the final episode of The Matchmakers more singles are encouraged to go on second dates and look beyond superficiality.

Agreeing to go on a second date, Becky and Ronald engage in a game of “The Dating Game” – Toby’s unique icebreaker game where the singles ask 200 questions, in an effort to go beyond superficial chit chat and delve deep into the core values important to each other.

Matchmakers, Preeti and Heena are experts at navigating roadblocks that get in the way of Hindu soulmates. 28-year-old Goutham’s rush to get married before he turns 30 raises alarm bells in the matchmaking camp.

As a Turkish Muslim, Volkan goes out on his own to find someone that matches his background and, in the process, lands himself in the middle of a crisis of faith. He seeks out Sheik Alaa’s help to put him back on track.

As Imam of the local community, Sheik Alaa completes one of the most rewarding roles as a matchmaker – marrying young Muslim couple Hamzi and Amar.

We conclude the series with an update on all our singles and a summary of how many successful matches the matchmakers have put together.

8:40pm Wednesday on SBS.
