Nine travel series visits Victorian and Gold Coast top spots this Sunday.

This Sunday the Postcards team explore more of Victoria’s top spots and visit the Gold Coast.

Brodie Harper is in one of Melbourne’s smallest suburbs, Cremorne (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country), checking out some awesome small businesses. Her first stop is Coe & Coe cafe for a delicious smoothie. She then meets the sister duo behind The Run Club at another great local, Denis the Menace. She finishes the day with a visit to the cult classic Tarts Anon and a chat with creator and chef extraordinaire, Gareth Whitton.

Madeline Spark is in Brunswick East (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country), which was recently voted the sixth coolest neighbourhood in the world. To start her day, she grabs a coffee from Core Roasters on Barkly Street. Heading up the road to East Brunswick Village, she checks out the brand new and very cool FoMo Cinemas which offers tasty in-cinema dining. Later, Maddie stops by Maggie’s Snacks and Liquor for a post-movie cocktail.

Meanwhile, Kris Smith is on the sunny Gold Coast (Bundjalung Country) giving viewers a tour of the luxurious Vibe Hotel. A 10-minute drive from the hotel, Kris explores HOTA, Home of the Arts, a groovy cultural precinct before heading over to Quench Gelati and Juice Bar in Southport to try the award-winning Ice Cream of the Year. Kris ends his day back at the Vibe Hotel just in time for a sunset cocktail by the pool at Driftwood Social.

Shane Delia is in Flemington (Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country) for a look at the famous racecourse and an exclusive tour from Victoria Racing Club CEO, Steve Rosich. Back on Racecourse Road, Shane unearths some flavourful East African cuisine at New Somali Kitchen and sits down with chef, Abdo Sean, for a feast. And, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, he wraps up the afternoon with a pint of Guinness at Melbourne’s best Irish pub, The Quiet Man.
