Renewed: FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International

All three US procedurals win new seasons from CBS.

The FBI franchise has been given a group renewal by CBS.

Mother ship procedural FBI has been given three-season renewal, taking it through to its ninth season in 2026-27.

Spinoffs FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International each received single-season pickups, which will mark the sixth season for Most Wanted and the fourth for International.

“The all-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said in a statement.

“Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera on all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fanbase steadily across multiple seasons. We are excited to see what next season holds for all these heroic characters.”

Prolific producer Dick Wolf, “Obviously, I’m thrilled by the pickups. We are all extremely grateful to [CBS president and CEO] George Cheeks and Amy and their entire team.”

FBI is averaging 12.3 million US viewers in cross-platform viewers while FBI Most Wanted is 10.3 million viewers and FBI International averages 9.6 million.

All three shows screen in Australia on 10.

  1. FBI airs on Ten. S1-4 of Most Wanted aired on Ten before it moved to Paramount+. FBI International is on Paramount+ with repeats of S1 & 2 aired on Ten. NCIS Hawaii is on Paramount+, repeats of S1 & 2 have aired on Ten and Binge.

The pattern is fairly easy to figure out, if the show is part of a procedural franchise that has survived the disruption caused by streaming this far, you are going to be renewed as long as the cast is still drawing breath. Anything different is likely to be a sequal, reboot or remake that won’t see S3.
