MAFS leads Easter Monday viewing

Nine reality juggernaut screened final vows, while TV legend Denise Drysdale entered 10 jungle.

Ratings results are now into a second week of non-survey numbers, with select first-run episodes screening last night.

Married at First Sight dominated with 1.61m viewers in National TV Audience.

That more than doubled the competition with Australian Story on 655,000 then 7:30 (645,000), I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (634,000) battling for second, followed by Highway Patrol (560,000 / 438,000).

Later My Wife, My Abuser was 703,000 then Four Corners (612,000), Ron Iddles: The Good Cop (404,000) and FBI: Most Wanted (242,000).

News bulletins were high with Seven News leading the 6pm battle at 1.41m to Nine News on 1.34m.

Elsewhere Seven’s AFL reached up to 1.42m during daytime but averaged 494,000 while the Stawell Gift reached 963,000 on Seven, averaging 455,000 -if challenged by some technical problems.

Survey resumes this Sunday April 7.

      1. I mentioned it previously on this blog.

        They did it a couple of months ago on an Australia vs West Indies Cricket match.
        The advertised 6pm 7 News did not start until around 6.45pm.

        It’s frustrating when your major local news is on 7.
