US cop show The Rookie starring Nathan Fillion has been renewed for a seventh season.

S6 premiered to 11.92 million US viewers across platforms, its best overall performance since 2018.

Nathan Fillion stars as John Nolan, along with Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Sergeant Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune, Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers, Tru Valentino as Aaron Thorsen, and Lisseth Chavez as Celina Juarez.

The Rookie has screened in Australia on Seven which ran S5 last year.

  1. Great show, which I am now caught up on, in spite of how glitchy the 7+ app is (and certainly in spite of the 7+ app being unavailable on a wide range of devices, these FTA channels want to bleat about prominence, make an Xbox app you cheapskates!)
