Season 4 of UK crime drama The Bay will finally premiere on BBC First in May.
The series features Marsha Thomason, Daniel Ryan & Erin Shanagher.
This premiered in the UK over a year ago, which is a very disappointing delay.
When 23-year-old university student Hannah is found dead on the edge of the docks, Morecambe’s MIU team has another high-stakes case to solve in the new fifth season of this captivating drama. Having just returned to work following her father’s death, DS Jenn Townsend, MIU’s Family Liaison Officer, must push aside her own grief to support Hannah’s bitterly divided family.
The investigation intensifies as the team peels back the complicated layers of Hannah’s life and the secrets within it. But can Jenn reconcile her personal and professional struggles as she grapples to solve the case, come to terms with her own loss, and build bridges with her family? From award-winning writer Daragh Carville, The Bay is now a global favourite, selling to over 140 territories.
Wednesdays at 7.30pm from May 22 on BBC First and Binge.

Hi David, the synopsis for season 4 of The Bay is that Morecambe police investigates a suspicious arson at the Metcalf family house, which killed their mother. Hannah’s death will be covered in season 5.
