Selling Sunset star to guest on Neighbours

US presenter and actor Chrishell Stause to begin filming on Ramsay Street from July.

US presenter and actor Chrishell Stause (Selling Sunset, Days of our Lives) will guest star in Neighbours, commencing filming in July.

She will play Yasmine Shields, a glamorous and successful businesswoman in pursuit of an exciting work opportunity.

Stause, married to Australia’s G Flip and an advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, has previously acted on US soaps All My Children, The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives. Her character will feature from late 2024.

Executive Producer, Jason Herbison said: “We are thrilled to welcome Chrishell to the cast of Neighbours. We created a character especially for her and we can’t wait for her to bring the storyline alive. Expect intrigue and surprises – and many implications for the residents of Ramsay Street.”

“I am honoured and excited to join such a beloved and iconic show! Coming from the world of soaps in the U.S., it’s back to my first love in the entertainment industry. They pitched me an idea for a character, and I was immediately excited to figure out a way to make it happen. Ramsay Street here I come!” Stause said.

Neighbours was recently nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Guest Performance In a Daytime Drama Series for Guy Pearce.

Neighbours screens 4pm weekdays on 10 plus Prime Video a week later.
