Jon Cryer multicam sitcom Extended Family is now available to stream on 7plus.
Cryer (Two and a Half Men,) plas Jim alongside Abigail Spencer (Timeless, Suits, Grey’s Anatomy) as Julia: an amicably divorced couple who are navigating the complexities of co-parenting while raising their children in the family home.
As they take turns living with their kids, their unconventional arrangement becomes even more challenging when the owner of Jim’s favourite sports team, Trey, played by Donald Faison (Scrubs), sweeps Julia off her feet.
The cast also includes rising stars Sofia Capanna and Finn Sweeney.
The series debuted on NBC in the US in December but was cancelled after one season.
Creator Mike O’Malley serves as showrunner and executive producer. Tom Werner, Jon Cryer, Wyc Grousbeck, Emilia Fazzalari, George Geyer, Victor Levin, Victoria Morrow, and James Widdoes also serve as executive producers.
Extended Family is produced by Lionsgate Television in association with Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

I watched episode one and two earlier this year. I only watched episode two in sheer hope it improved, it did not.
Wait, isn’t this the exact premise of the show-within-a-show from the Kegan Key & Rachel Bloom led Disney + series Reboot.
