Prime Video Cricket Café in South Yarra

Fans can come down from 6:00am to grab a coffee on the house from barista Usman (Uzzy) Khawaja.

A Prime Video Cricket Café will be open in South Yarra on Monday, June 24 in a promotion for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for one day only.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup ambassador, Usman (Uzzy) Khawaja will ditch the bat to try his hand as head barista at Rustica, South Yarra.

Fans can come down from 6:00am to grab a coffee on the house, while stocks last and follow the action on the big screens located inside the café as the match is played exclusively on Prime Video.

Usman Khawaja said, “I love nothing more than to start my morning with a good coffee, so I am looking forward to ditching the bat and testing out a new venture: dishing up Melbourne’s freshest brew at the very first Prime Video Cricket Café.

“Fans will be able to watch the start of the Super Eight matches from inside the café as it plays on Prime Video and enjoy a special Uzzy-inspired pastry – a first for me! I look forward to meeting local Melbournians at Rustica in South Yarra and celebrating the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup finals together on Prime Video.”

  1. It would be nice if Prime worked with more venues to show the tournament. Incredibly disappointing when you can’t even watch matches at any of Melbourne’s sports bars, let alone your average pub. As far as I’m aware, the only other venue to show a match this tournament is IMAX for India v Pakistan.
