Poirot star Sir David Suchet will film a five-part documentary series recreating Agatha Christie’s 1920s expedition across Canada, Hawaii, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
SBS has attached to Travels With Agatha with Sir David Suchet along with Channel 4 in the UK, BritBox in North America and the Nordics.
Each episode features one of the five countries, as David Suchet, who played Poirot for 13 seasons replicates Christie’s journey across the British Empire.
In Australia she visited the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, St. Kilda, Mornington Peninsula, Dandenong Ranges, Hobart, and Brisbane.
Filming will commence in coming weeks produced by Soho Studios and Two Rivers Media.
