But that didn’t stop Tracey…

Trouble free from any court injunctions, Roberta Williams, ex-wife of Carl Williams, was interviewed by Tracey Grimshaw tonight on A Current Affair.

Meanwhile Today Tonight was barred from screening its story between Judy Moran and Barbara Williams.

On ACA, Roberta Williams, gave her thoughts on the Nine series.

“I’ll say it again now on national TV. Underbelly is entertainment.”

A “demure” Williams, as Grimshaw put it, was not her usually abrasive self during the interview.

“Your reputation is a lot feistier and a lot more outspoken than you seem to be tonight, are there two Roberta Williams?” asked Grimshaw.

“No there’s not. This me. I suppose everyone has a dark side to them and if you get on the wrong side of somebody you’ll see that. This is me. What you see is what you get. I’m just not using some swear words as I often do,” she said.

Grimshaw seemed particularly uncomfortable chatting to Williams, continually looking at her notes and almost everywhere other than down the barrel of the camera.

No doubt there are some interviews that make everyone feel just that little bit uneasy…

  1. It concerns me that the media are turning a bunch of vicious criminals and their associates into “celebrities”. How long before we see these people popping up as guest judges on reality shows etc?

  2. i find that tracy often looks uncomfortable and out of place, more than likely shes wondering why the hell she botherd with all those years at Uni when all shes ended up doing is hosting shit like ACA
