A Very TV Tonight Xmas

It was The Brady Bunch who first dubbed one of their telemovies A Very Brady Christmas, now such a widely adapted phrase for any special bursting its festive seams.

Merry Christmas to all readers of TV Tonight.

Thanks for your support this year and I hope the day brings everything you want (even if we don’t get The Panel Xmas Wrap).

I think it was probably The Brady Bunch who first dubbed one of their telemovies A Very Brady Christmas, now it’s such a widely adapted phrase to depict any special that’s bursting its festive seams, and very possibly bordering on camp too.

TV Tonight is still in summer mode with moderate updating of news and information. Voting is continuing on the TV Tonight Awards with some interesting trends so far (hands up who voted for Summer Heights High as best comedy? Sorry gang, it was 2007, only in reruns this year).

So enjoy the xmas pudding and don’t get too hammered or you may just wind up being filmed by a nightclub bouncer and making the tabloids.

Happy, happy.

David.

Had to logon to see if David had any pearls of wisdom.
On sidenote must remember to revisit Carols by Carol light story and share thoughts on Karl & Lisa.Only caught snippets but jeez Karl was wooden.
His word for day was senastional – 3 times in first 30 seconds of him talking.
On lighter note, bah humbug bring on commercial NY eve when TV celbs really look silly and offer up their resolutions for next year.
Did I say “Bah humbug” yet ?
