Bumped: ANTM. Returning: Taken Out.

Some relief for fans of America's Next Top Model with a late night reprieve. And what's this? New eps of Taken Out?

More changes from Network TEN offer some relief to fans of disappearing shows.

Bumped episodes of America’s Next Top Model have been rescheduled to appear at 12:15am Sunday January 18 (or late on Saturday night, if you prefer). It continues at 12am the following Sunday morning, including a 2 hr edition on January 25. At least viewers who were watching the show now have some hope of continuing.

Lucky it had only been reported as “Gone” and not “Axed.”

Meanwhile TEN is also bringing Taken Out back to screens in a late night timeslot. These are likely to be episodes that were unaired.

It’s back at 12:10am Monday January 12 (or again, late on Sunday if you prefer). It continues nightly at around 12:30am across the next two weeks.

TEN has also changed plans to return Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? to Monday nights. Instead it plans The Simpsons with ep “Homer’s Paternity Coot” followed by Rules of Engagement with a repeat ep “Mr. Fix IT.” It continues in repeats at 8pm Tuesdays.

Monday January 12
7:30pm The Simpsons
8:00pm Rules Of Engagement
8:30pm Monday Night Movie – Double Jeopardy
10:40pm Out Of The Blue
11:10pm TEN Late News With Sports Tonight
11:55pm The Late Show With David Letterman
12:55am Taken Out

  1. I know we are talking Channel 10 here, but I noticed that Channel 9 have, like, 4 hours of McLeod’s Daughters (YUK) on Saturday night? Surely that’s not the only show in their archives? FFS…

  2. I am very dissapointed with channel ten, for a start my friend and I waited to watch at 6.30pm as advertised in the book, no America’s Next Top Model we sat in front of the tv untill Monday at 7.30pm no America’s Next Top Model. This is a terriable way to treat loyal and happy fans of this show. Shame on you, channel ten.

  3. They should have put taken out on where the Bold and the Beautiful has been sitting most of the summer at 6pm not this past Midnight hour.So we get a few complaints from the Parents with Young Children that the timeslot belongs to the Simpsons.I know which one I would rather see

  4. I am soooo fed up of all the network’s (Channel 7, 9 & 10) ‘knee-jerk’ reaction to ratings and scheduling and I can’t understand the reason for such short-term thinking.

Here’s a novel idea … Put a series on, stick with it and you never know, the ratings might pick up!

In the UK, the main stations never pull a series midway and consequently they have loyal viewers and many series become popular through word of mouth.

It’s gotten to the stage over here where I can’t be bothered to watch anything new on the main networks because they are just going to be pulled after a week or 2.

    Idiots!

  5. that is so stupid. the only thing i actually watch on channel 10 is ANTM and now it’s on at midnight. the other shows are crappy and boring, thanks channel 10 i will no longer be watching.

  6. ANTM was my favourite guilty pleasure. Soon as I heard it was ‘gone’ I just went to YouTube and watched the rest of the season. No way I am staying up til midnight to watch it. I prefer to watch shows on tv, but feel like its such an effort to keep up with programming changes these days.

  7. This is some of the greatest new i have heard about tv for some time! I was so disappointed when taken out got axed! cant wait to watch the remaining episodes!

  8. This is a really stupid move on Ten’s part. Sure, Taken Out may not rate well, but surely it would’ve been a better idea to play any remaining eps during a late primetime slot (and still squeeze some Aussie content quota points out of it) instead of dumping it in a post midnight slot.

And why oh why are Ten still pairing The Simpsons up with Rules of Engagement? The two shows aren’t compatible!!! The Simpsons + Futurama… it’s not rocket science.

  9. If it wasn’t serious, it would be funny.
CongratsTen for not showing repeats of Fifth grader but geez…showing ANTM and Taken Out after midnight really must fit into your sms demographics.

  10. And again I will say that the network who comes out with a programming guarantee which effectively promises viewers nothing will change in their line up for a set period of time, will win the ratings and gain most viewer loyalty. Look at how upset viewers are of schedule changes and bumped and dumped shows! Less viewers mean less ratings and therefore less advertising revenue.

  11. Excellent. I wish ten would put all my shows on late. That way I will record them on my new pvr and watch them when I want. Thanks channel ten, for allowing me to skip through your advertising….

  12. Wake up to yourselves 10, about time you give shows a go. Its very hard a s a viewer keeping up – one minute its on then its off. How do you expect viewers to be loyal?????????

  13. Well, at least it’s on at a time when I’m not watching and I guess it’s a step up from Benn Hinn or those Ab-King infomercials (or whatever they usually have on).

  14. who the hell put ANTM on the 12:00am time slot. this is a load of crap.
ch10 be serious, at least put it on around 2:00pm in the after noon, not late night especially on Sunday night when people have work the next day.

  15. Well I didn’t expect to see Taken Out returning at all. I’d quite forgotten about the show. But will anyone really bother to wait up that late just to watch ATNM, esp. when its around 4 cycles behind? I doubt most ppl will even realise its returning

  16. who the **** is running programming down there at ten???
i don’t think u get how m,any people ppl you actually piss off when u change programming to such a horrib le state.
u used to be THE netowkr to watch for me.
with lots of teen shows on it.
    now it’s all factual. ugh
oh and too many repeats of ncis and the L&O’s
    i love L&O but TEN…too much…
u canncelled too many TV shows for me to keep up.
so bye ten. you have lost yet another viewer
