SPOILER: Who survives the great rafting accident on 2008 is a tale that will kick off Neighbours 2009 season.

In the finale cliffhanger a harmless outing went awry, as they invariably do at that time of the television year. Several of the younger cast members, namely Bridget, Zeke plus Libby were placed in peril by those naughty storyliners.

The search is on for Bridget, Libby and Zeke who are missing after one of the boats from the rafting trip capsized. When two of the residents are found, hope starts to diminish as the light of day fades and it seems one life has been claimed by the river. Meanwhile, Steph finds herself falling for a man wth a dark secret.

  2. I expect Zeke will be found as he hasnt been in hospital yet, unlike every other member of the cast, what is it with Neighbours and that bloody hospital set,are they all frustrated Scrubs or ER script writers or did they overpay for the set and have to use it every other day.

    Please think of something else other than XYZ is rushed to hospital.

  3. Clearly some don’t know the art of acting! Michala Banas should be commended for her ‘in at the deep end’ portrayal of Libby Kennedy, however as such a legendary long-running character Kim is the only actress for the part. Even as a young girl she displayed brilliant techniques and has kept such a reputation constant…I cannot think a bad word to say about her. I agree about Zeek, better as a nerd, excited about the pregnancy story of Bridgets, and beleive me, soap pregnancy does not, in any shape or form, persuade teenagers to avoid contraception. Quite a ridiculous explanation. Do soaps convince us to murder our best friends brothers girlfriends aunt? Or any other ridiculous scenario. Soaps are there solely for entertainment, not for advertisement. Rachel cannot leave sooner in my books, average actress but annoying character. Ego the size of Everest and the story lines constantly pulling the spotlight on her. Shes really nothing special, can the spotlight shine somewhere else please?

  8. oh my god, thank you to Charli for that Libby/Dan spoiler! brilliant storyline. so glad they get to have a kid cos im pretty sure she loses the baby (it’s revealed shes preggers next week or so). can’t wait!!

  9. wellll,,,, it might be zeke cause he aint in any of the pictures. i hope it isnt him though coz i laaarve him 😀

    But, also i dont think its zeke because, ive been on other spoiler websites and it doesnt say anywhere that zeke is leaving it says that rachel ty carmella miranda steve briget and elle are leaving but nothing about zeke. he might just go missing for a bit and then come back later
    i will cry if he leaves :'(

  10. look.. it’s zeke, he’s missing but is found a month or so later suffering from amnesia and living with a man named phil andrews, elle and lucas discover him there and carl and susan persuade him to come home.. OK

  12. when iwent on you tube i tiped in nighboures 2009 yh and it said about the raffting i am so scared now. i thought they shounld not of don that boat trip. cos zeke said to declin that he will look after dige but the boate terned over. i am so shocked about it. but i konw this is not raly but thay make it look rale. omg. lov kahty xx

  16. Ian Bishop ( Harold) is leaving the show at some stage, I read about it in a newspaper article.

    Zeke’s my favourite, I was hoping Bridget or Libby would die, they’re both so freaking annoying. But it would upset Susan, and she reminds me of my mum so that would make me sad. 😛

    I don’t undrstand how so many of you are happy that his character has left.
    I think his character is really cool, he has alot of hidden depth to his personality. His life has been a pretty touch obsticle race i recon.

    i have a friend who works as in wardrobe for neighbours, she informs me that libby and dan do end up having a kid.. although the twist is that susan becomes the surrogate mother for them. gotta love the twists! and i also went to highschool with caitlen who plays rachael -shes off to persue her singing career – as they all do. my sister who made friends with her younger sister informs me that she was in australian girl choir – so hopefully something good may come out of career – although i am not holding my breath

  23. Why does Zeke have to die? I beleive that we can find libby Bridget alive. I Beleive That Zeke is barely dead. We will find dead body some where. I do not want Bridget’s pregnancy to never end. She did not lost her baby and every thing will be ok we will adventualy Find them I promise and So we will Zeke dead ( lost) . a lost body Zeke will not come back. so Zeke will be ( Lost ). Just think back at the happy times that Zee did to make every one happy and remember Zeke and Share his Laughter that every one of you Shall remember this very last day that Zeke is gone forever

  25. why did zeke have to die? i wanted libby to die but i new he would. i wonder y he wanted to leave da show? i no hes been on da show 4 yrs but come on ur geitng payed good money so y leave? u will be missed!
