  1. I used to follow this show when it had a dedicated Wednesday night slot for a good two seasons, then Nine starts moving it all over the map and I can’t keep up – in the US I think Miami has been in only one slot – Mondays at 10 and has stayed there for eternity where (suprise suprise) it kicks ass.

Nine got so nervous about Ten’s 2005 success with Medium and then House that they turned CSI Miami into all-purpose spac-filler rather than giving it it’s own night.

  2. Personally I have been a fan of Miami for years, but ever since it left the Wed time slot, probably in 2005. I have managed to catch more episodes in recent months when it was on air. I am lost as to the main characters storylines, but I enjoy the characters and individual storylines. I do not know why it was taken off several weeks ago. (I think it has been gone since Easter).
I agree with most other people. The fact that they keep changing everything makes it hard to know when your show is on.
This is why 7 and 10 have more success, they are less prone to chopping and changing. Ch9 lost me when they moved Sea Patrol to monday nights. a) I wasn’t sure they would keep it on air, and I was used to watching another channel with more relaibility.
Whwen ch9 programmers learn to stick to one time slot, things might improve!!

  3. When CSI :NY was on Wednesday nights after The Mentalist it rated really well.
That was a great line up!! Of course there is no ratings, it is on at 10:30 on a Sunday night!! CSI:Miami is s*** and whoever thinks David Caruso is a good actor is seriously mistaken.

  4. This time last year Nine were winning Sunday by 10%. Now they’re coming third, with Ten consolidating their schedule and Seven completely revamping it with a lineup that is now winning them the night.

This continual musical chairs of CSI’s, chopping and changing shows, will only add to the instability of Nine’s Sunday schedule.

  5. I had to give up on all CSIs about 3 years ago. The scheduled episodes where rarely shown, they swapped new with old too many times, or did this NY/Miami/Vegas swap game.

  6. Why don’t they just decide what they will leave on Sundays and not change it for at least 3 months? Have been interested in watching some of the CSI’s but sick of it changing all the time. No wonder 9 is losing out Sundays. Too many changes hurting.

  7. On Channel CSI, nobody really cares which iteration is on at the time. It’s all CSI, all the time.

And they wonder why they’re going broke…

  8. I don’t think Nine has played more than two episodes of this season of CSI New York together. That and the fact that the Monday episode is a repeat (NSW/Qld doesn’t get footy classified on Nine digital). No wonder it is getting bad ratings.
