Well, well, well… look who’s coming back to Wisteria Lane.
ABC has confirmed Jesse Metcalfe will reprise his hunky role as gardener John Rowland in the third and fourth episodes of the next season of Desperate Housewives.
Last time we saw him was on Season 4, married to a rich, daddy’s girl. Metcalfe also made news last year after an accident in Monaco when he lost his balance and tumbled from a hotel balcony down several flights of stairs.
Creator Marc Cherry says the character is now divorced. He will become a romantic interest for Carlos’ niece, who joined at the end of the fifth series, currently airing in Australia.
Cherry told TV Guide, “When Ana finds out that Gabrielle had an affair with John, she sets her sights on him, which upsets Gabrielle.”
