Start licking your lips, people.
The second season of the delicious second season of True Blood returns to Showcase at 8:30pm Tuesday September 15th.
That’s just before the show is up for Emmy Awards a week later.
In episode one, a shocking murder outside Merlotte’s has Bon Temps reeling. Meanwhile, Sookie’s relationship with Bill is tested when she learns of his siring of Jessica, and of his involvement in her uncle’s death. Sam recalls a shape-shifting encounter he had with Maryann as a 17-year-old.
Jason gets a sudden windfall that allows him to pay for a leadership retreat with the Fellowship of the Sun. Two adversaries find themselves sharing a mysterious dungeon and, possibly, the same fate.
Amended.

Just finished watching S1 in a marathon viewing and it’s an excellent show! Though the footage from the opening titles gives me the creeps…ugh. Onto Season 2!!!
I agree first 4 ep’s of season 2 are brilliant, its an excellent show
The first few eps of S2 are great!
Can’t wait. Just finished watching Season 1 on blu-ray and loved it. Fantastic show!
Glad its coming, I was considering entering the world of downloads for the first time. Shame you can’t just put Showcase on for say $5 per month without having the SHowtime movie channels as well – I think its still $15 a month for the 4 Showtime / showcase channels.
Great, cant wait! I thought we would have to wait til next year to see season 2.
Why are we waiting so long? US already half way through this season and so many people I know are downloading the series…publishers here lose copyright if we don’t make something new available within 30 days of their first international release – why doesn’t this apply to music, films, TV?
News to me Dan.
Second season
Sorry but I think you might mean second season, rather than third. Cheers.
Third season? You’re sure? =)
