AFL fever hits FOX Sports

For the second year running, FOX Sports will have Live broadcasts of AFL shows from Federation Square.

OnTheCouchFOX Sports gets into AFL mode next week with a week long celebration of the game from Federation Square, Melbourne.

For the second year running, the channel will have Live broadcasts of AFL Teams and Before the Bounce from Federation Square, and for the first time FOX Sports News will present a Live broadcast of The Long Lunch.

Thursday night’s AFL Teams will feature a rotating panel throughout the show. Host Brian Taylor will be joined by several members of the FOX Sports AFL team, including Leigh Colbert, David Parkin, Liam Pickering, Tony Shaw and Rohan Smith.

Then on Friday as the Grand Final parade marches through the city, FOX Sports News presenters Sarah Jones and Chris Stubbs will be joined by special AFL guests for a Live two-hour edition of the Long Lunch.

In addition to the Live broadcast, FOX Sports News Channel will keep fans abreast of the activity with regular crosses into Federation Square throughout the week.

Finally, on Friday night FOX Sports’ Jason Dunstall and the Before the Bounce am of Damien Fleming, Danny Frawley and guest Gerard Waitley will deliver the final episode of the season.

FOX Sports will also be giving fans the opportunity to win the last tickets in town to the AFL Grand Final.

In addition to the Live activity, the Foxtel Dome will be parked in Federation Square from Monday morning with competitions and giveaways which will continue throughout the week.

  1. Craig M what on earth are you talking about? Clearly you’ve never seen these shows. Personally I can’t wait for the final installment of “Yesterday’s Heroes” but I’m sure you have no idea what that is. Maybe you should take a look at them before forming an opinion.

  2. Speaking for myself, I think it’s sad Fox Sports would even think I’d so much as
    contemplate watching has beens from Commercial Telly and others who probably couldn’t get a job there in the first place.
