TEN is already making adjustments to its schedule in the lead up to the start of official ratings.

White Collar will no longer return at 9:30pm on Friday February 5th.

Instead it will be replaced with a repeat of NCIS. Whether it resumes on Fridays once ratings begin remains to be seen.

A Merlin repeat is also out at 6:30pm Saturday February 6th with Star Wars: Episode II – Attack Of The Clones bumped forward an hour instead.

Revenge Of The Sith now follows at 9:35pm.

  1. Oh dear. Someone needs to remind Channel 10 that to have a successful business, you need satisfied customers.

It’s all about the feedback. Here’s mine – I’m gone. I’ll get my faves elsewhere. Thanks for nothing Channel 10.

  2. One good show and you took it off. Seriously. I hope you come last in ratings until White Collar returns. I’m boycotting Ten and One 😀

    Runs off to cry

  3. lol @ Channel 10, just stupidity, you put so much effort into importing a critically acclaimed show, and you throw it on a Friday, the second least-watched prime time night….

Channel 10 needs to cut 7pm Project, give one of the presenters, probably Dave Hughes, their own late night show, pair it up with Letterman, throw Biggest Loser at 7:00, and have much less Dance. It’s not just because I hate unscripted reality TV, in fact, I support it, it’s cheap, and it gets the eyeballs, but let’s not forget what TV is for, it’s for professiionally trained actors and talented writers to showcase their skills to the world.

And no NCIS at 8:30 Tuesday? Really…? I mean, it didn’t win the timeslot, when it went up against Rafters, but it was competitive at least, and that’s how TV generally works, fight the best with your best. They sort-of launched White Collar and Lie To Me out of NCIS, which was a smart ploy, but then you guys burn off all the new episodes in the non-ratings period…?

Fourthly, House, what is with it not being on at 8:30 Wednesday…? It was pretty much the one timeslot Channel 10 was winning, apart from football. And then you move it to Sunday… what on earth were the programmers thinking?

Seriously, Jeff Zucker didn’t f**k up NBC as much as Channel 10 has.

  4. You’ve got to be kidding me… White Collar was the best show for 2009 IMO but in saying that I’ve made it a point to check the ratings each week and it hasn’t done as well as I would have hoped here in Oz…….guess it’s back to viewing elsewhere.

  5. TEN are seriously milking NCIS for what its worth currently. While it is my favourite show in TV History, people who arent as obsessed as I will begin to get sick of it. Once a week is healthy, 3 times is an overkill. Yes, it rates brilliantly with new eps and the more TEN air it the quicker the new ep figures will drop. They need to think about longterm and not just what works best for them currently.

  6. @Ianblair23 – they showed a clip poking fun at Nine and the TG guys, basically saying they got a load of money to move. Maybe someone has it on YouTube?

I hope the ratings are no better on Nine and dread to see how much BBC has had to cut to fit in all the ads Nine wants, even then you know it will start late and run over time! Good thing I’ve seen the latest season in full already, those flights to the UK were well worth it LOL

Sorry for the off topic David.

  7. Oh for goodness sake ch10. I’m pi**ed off that they decided to take White Collar off. The only good show that’s good on ch10 and they take it off.

It aired in the US last night so there’s no reason why they can’t show it here. No wonder the abc is beating them in the ratings. Bad Decision Ch 10!!!!!!!!

  8. I still dont get the “logic” behind repeating epsiodes weeks after they’ve aired. Catch-up episodes – yes, i can understand that. But whole seasons?
It just stinks of lazy programing (if you dare call it programming).

I cant think of any show other that Master chef that I’ll be watcing on C10 this year – though im sure if I get an itch to watch About a boy / mean girls- i know where to tune in….

The more and more commercial channels screw around with the programming, the more I’ve sound myself watching shows on abc/sbs.

Speaking of sbs – did anyone notice during last nights top gear credits, it looked like sbs was having a good dig at topgear / C9 ?

  9. I’m guessing it’s a delivery issue, because it is very close to telecast in the U.S. The show will probably be back in the schedule the following week.

  10. Bummer.

I finally tuned in to watch an episode when I read that Wendy Watson – Apprentice Middleman had a role on the show and despite the lack of dialogue/action/anything for Natalie Morales’ character, the episode wasn’t too bad (with the exception of the former 90210 cast member).

  11. LOL. Pretty soon i won’t want to watch anything on Ten. Taking Supernatural off air is their biggest mistake but they just keep going and going and going. One by one they are taking off everything i enjoy watching. It is kinda making me laugh now. I don’t even really have to think about boycotting Ten, they are just doing it for me.

I used to be loyal and protective of them, they used to be my favourite but not anymore. Now, i just don’t care. Do whatever you want Ten, it seems like you are anyway.

  12. It sh!ts me every year the Networks think they’re clever by not revealing their schedule til the last minute. Do they really think their competitors are clueless about what the likely line up is going to be? Give the viewer a heads up as to what is where so we can bloody well watch the shows you desperately want us to!
And another hint to programmers…repeating a series does not make us want to watch the next one..ie. Merlin, NCIS, House ( a classic example which you killed for most of Australia).
