Charlie Sheen has been charged with a felony menacing, third-degree assault and criminal mischief stemming from a Christmas Day incident in which he allegedly held a knife to his wife’s throat in Aspen.
The Two and a Half Men star has been allowed to return to Los Angeles with his wife, Brooke Mueller, and modified a protective order that had prohibited both from seeing each other.
Details of the case against the actor were not read in Aspen’s Pitkin County District Court but according to an affidavit, Sheen and Mueller had been arguing over Mueller saying she wanted a divorce. Mueller, 32, told police that Sheen, 44, had pinned her to the bed, gripped her neck with one hand and held a knife to her throat with the other as he straddled her.
The bad news continues for Sheen. Last Friday, burglars stole his Mercedes-Benz after he left his garage door open with the keys in the car, which ended up crashed and abandoned in a ravine.
Sheen is scheduled to return to a Colorado court on March 15th.

Franz: I think we have had this discussion before. The decision is an economic one. It costs a lot less to play crap like two and a half men that rates well and attracts advertisers than it does a similarly rated Australian production like Temptation.

Well I hope this means Channel Nine will bring back Temptation from 2011 onwards and a New Price is Right to fill the 7pm Timeslot till then or over the summer periods.
Eddie McGuire should use the money he makes to go find hosts for those mentioned programmes.Has Nine lost it’s marbles not all of us are 16 to 39 year olds who love a good comedy after an hour of News and Current Affairs on weekdays and can’t stand the 7pm project or the tripe that is Home and Away.
Franz I think I can safely say Charlie Sheen’s US court appearances won’t mean Temptation or Price is Right will get renewed by Nine. Think you’re gonna have to let it go…
