Old ABC episodes of Enough Rope, Bombora, Foreign Correspondent and Catalyst will begin streaming on Fairfax newspaper websites following a deal with the ABC.
The Age reports both organisations have signed a one-year video licensing deal for Fairfax to buy the back-catalogue of some ABC titles.
It follows Fairfax signing a deal with TEN last month to add short clips of news footage to complement news reports by journalists. That deal also saw Fairfax use video content on its online mastheads.
Next month Fairfax will launch a new video player with a host of programs from other unnamed third parties.
ABC’s Charter has always been about it delivering its content to as many Australians as it can.
More recent ABC titles are still up for discussion, but would conflict with iView.

I hope they start showing Sylavania Waters again – I think ABC should be showing more of its old stuff on iView…
