Returning: Australia’s Next Top Model

ASTRA winner and FOX8's most successful local brand, Australia's Next Top Model, returns for its sixth season in July.

Australia’s Next Top Model returns for its sixth season in July with 16 finalists aged 16 – 20 years old.

Hosted once again by Sarah Murdoch the series is FOX8’s most successful local brand. Last week it picked up an ASTRA Award as Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Programme.

Josh Flinn, has been announced as Model Mentor, a role previously undertaken by Jonathan Pease. Flinn has already indicated his preference for models who are neither plus size nor too thin.

Photographer Jez Smith, who was a judge in the third series, also returns as a regular judge alongside Alex Perry and Charlotte Dawson.

On offer this year is representation by modelling agency Priscilla’s, a $25,000 contract to appear in a Levi’s campaign, a trip to New York to meet ELITE agency, a Ford Fiesta Zetec, $20,000 cash and an eight-page spread for Harpers Bazaar Australia.

Produced by Granada Productions with Sarah Murdoch acting as Co-Executive Producer, it begins on Tuesday, July 20 at 7.30pm on FOX8.

  1. Thank god Pease is gone I dont think I could stand one more ep with him calling all of the girls babe and pretending to actually know something about modelling.
