SBS’s cycling program, Cycling Central, returns this Sunday August 1 at 5:00pm on SBS ONE,
With the latest road and track cycling, mountain biking and BMX it covers some of the biggest events on the international cycling calendar, with a mix of interviews with leading cyclists, news snippets and short features.
Fresh from covering the 2010 Tour de France, Mike Tomalaris will sit in the hosting chair, giving his insight into the week’s cycling action.
The first episode this Sunday will feature a comprehensive wrap-up of the 2010 Tour de France, with all the drama and highlights in the battle for the yellow jersey.
“The audiences for our major cycling events, like the Tour de France, keep increasing every year,” says Ken Shipp, SBS Head of Sport. “Cycling Central and its dedicated cycling website, sbs.com.au/cyclingcentral, will satisfy cycling fans all year round. SBS is proudly recognised as the cycling network in Australia and this new programme initiative will reinforce this association, providing a regular dose of all the best cycling events on the local and international calendar.”
