SBS next cycling event is its coverage of La Vuelta, or Tour of Spain.
The final of the three Grand Tours of Europe, La Vuelta covers 3200 kilometres in three weeks and celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2010.
This year’s event is expected to host some of cycling’s biggest names, including Denis Menchov, Mark Cavendish and 2010 Tour de France runner up, Andy Schleck.
SBS will broadcast eight stages of La Vuelta live including the opening stage from Seville on Sunday August 29 (Eastern States: 6.00 am; South Australia & NT: 5.30 am; Western Australia: 4:00 am) and the final stage into Madrid on Monday September 20.
