  1. wow just when i thought the emmys were predictible – Kyra Sedgwick!!!! I thought Juliana had it easily – or Glenn Close again. Wonder what led a majority of voters that way. Interesting that the most awarded series in the last couple of years – Mad Men has not had a single win in the acting categories. Too subtle? Modern Family and Mad Men to win in the big categories of comedy and drama imho.

  2. Michael C Hall and Jon Hamm (and I guess Hugh Laurie) will have to wait for next year – at least Cranston won’tbe eligible next emmy’s for series 4 (2012 awards). It feels as if he has finally been rewarded for so many great performances in other series as well as this seminal role in his career. What a great actor. I really wanted Michael C Hall to win.

In addition to screening the Emmys live, is there any reason why Fox 8 also don’t offer a repeat screening.

It is repeated on FOX8+2, today at 11.30am / noon (depending on your location) just like all other FOX8 screenings.

If you are not about and are close to a computer, set the show to record via the new Foxtel Windows application or, if lucky enough to own one, via your iPhone.

    Good luck

  4. The Amazing Race won 7 years in a row – Top Chef becomes the only other show to win in that category – about time! Thrilled that Eric Stonestreet won – my favourite in the category. Jane Lynch was a clear winner and favourite.

  5. Jimmy Fallon is starting to really get on my nerves with the ridiculous guitar /singing introductions to the various categories and artists..
    Once would have been enough.

  6. In addition to screening the Emmys live, is there any reason why Fox 8 also don’t offer a repeat screening at night time at about 7-8 pm, for the benefit of viewer subscribers who had to go to school or work in the day. I had definitely set the iQ2 to record it and being the wonderfully reliable device it is, the record
setting had a drop out and I missed the first 40 minutes, so had to do a manual record. Ten only screens an edited version that’s 1 hour shorter.
