Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster has taken to You Tube to lobby producers of  Saturday Night Live to get a hosting gig.

He even spoofs Saturday Night Live’s MacGyver spot as “Macarooner” and does his best impression of Lady Gaga.

The viral campaign to a guest-host sure worked for former Golden Girl Betty White, but will this one work?

  1. Love it. Wonder how Lorne feels about the Muppets these days? The SNL muppets, who appeared in the Land Of Gorch skits in the first season, were hated by staff, which is a shame because their skits still hold up.

  2. C is for Cookie, and that’s good enough for me. That loveable old google eyed freak taught me all there was worth knowing about the third letter of the alphabet. He’s got my vote!

I for one would love to see cookie monster on Saturday Night Live he was and still is my favorite sesame street character he and grover. anyway would like to see him hosting it could be difficult though considering he is a muppet. I would like to see Saturday Night Live period here on FTA in australia. David was Saturday Night Live ever on FTA in the past?
