Next Tuesday TEN airs Oprah's Aussie Countdown with Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban & Carrie Bickmore. But it's the Sound of Music we want.

Heads up for some more Oprah episodes of interest.
Next Tuesday night at 7:30pm TEN airs Oprah’s Aussie Countdown with Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban & Carrie Bickmore.
Bickmore was personally invited by Harpo Productions to film 2 segments for Oprah. She caught up with some of Oprah‘s biggest Aussie fans outside the Sydney Opera House in the lead up to her December visit.
More excitingly, TEN plays the Sound of Music reunion on Monday December 6th. This will be the first time in 45 years that the entire cast reunites, with Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer and with former cast members. The cast includes actor Nicholas Hammond who has spent many years in Australia.
Given we are going into summer, and that the big O is headed our way, it’s a little odd TEN hasn’t taken opportunity to screen some of these high profile episodes in prime time.
What’s with that?

I don’t see that episode on Oprah 1pm Monday the 6th Tvguide.com is showing it as some other show?
Desperately waiting to see the Sound Of Music Reunion episode!
Far more important than that “Aussie” episode … dull.
Wheeee!!! I’ve been waiting for the Sound of Music show.
Oh Sound of Music episode – now there is a few of my favourite things!!
Yay for Carrie! 😀 I personally dislike Angela Bishop but I do hope that some other Australian personalities get the chance to be involved.
Oprah is not played in primetime in The US. Why would it in Oz where she is a fraction as popular
So am I right in assuming The Sound of Music reunion Won’t be getting a prime time run ?
If so, how bizzare in light of the fact that it’s one of the most successful movies ever.
Most definately, the Sound of Music ep, should air in prime time.
I would of preferred Angela Bishop over Carrie.
I agree. I would love for some of the “important” Oprah episodes to be shown on prime time. Been dying to watch the Sound of Music special for a while. I thought it would of been perfect to show on a Saturday at 6:30pm and then follow it with the movie (can’t remember what network has the rights to it).
The last prime time Oprah special I can remember is the Australia one with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.
I think over the Summer it may rate ok … couldn’t hurt to try TEN?
Has the big giveaway epidsode aired yet?
Nup.
Because everytime an oprah special is aired in primetime it rates like poo.
I expect to see the Australian visits broadcast in primetime here though.
When will they actually go to air?
A lot of episodes are defs prime-time worthy.
