Two more shows on Nine’s list

There were two other shows announced at Nine's 2011 Programming Launch yesterday.

There were two other shows announced at Nine’s 2011 Programming Launch yesterday.

One was The Great Australian Recipe -a new cooking show that says the best recipes aren’t found in our top restaurants, but in the kitchens of Australia.

The winner of this one will see their product become a supermarket shelf product at the end of the series.

Presumably there are some key sponsors involved with this one already.

Nine also announced a local version of Send in the Dogs: Australia.

There were very few new titles added to GO! and GEM, but many established brands will remain.

GO! gets Glory Daze, which revolves around a group of college freshmen who pledge a fraternity in the 1980s.

GEM will add the fantastic Damages, but it isn’t yet clear which series.

  1. Apparently Season 2 Episode 1 of Damages aired today 2pm-3pm on GEM, no fanfare or real notice, my mum just told me about it. Is this going to be a regular timeslot — or as regular as Nein gets anyway?

  2. send in the dogs australia sounds good just so long as it isnt hosted by eddie or carl the cooking show will just be a big plug for a supermarket the only cooking show that i watch is MC

  3. sounds like ‘Breaking in to Tesco’ which was a brilliant show. Maybe they need to retitle this ‘Breaking in to Woolworths’ or ‘Breaking in to Coles’. Great Australian recipe sounds a bit naf
