Can you believe it?
A TV reunion that may not have been captured by Today Tonight or A Current Affair cameras?
TV Tonight understands another Aussie favourite had a reunion on the weekend to mark 25 years since it aired (technically, the 25th Anniversary was last year, but who’s counting?).
This show truly discovered some talent.
So what was the show, guys?
Let the guessing begin!
UPDATE: The Henderson Kids. (1985 – 1987).
Over 150 people joined cast and crew at a 25 year Reunion or the show at the Glenferrie Hotel in Hawthorn on the weekend.
Cast members who attended included Nadine Garner, Stefan Dennis, Jane Hall and Alex Papps, plus series creator Roger Moulton, producer Alan Hardy, writer Galia Hardy, and Director Chris Langham.
The 80s series also included Nicholas Eadie, Paul Smith, Kylie Minogue, Diane Craig, Ben Mendelsohn, Peter O’Brien, Reg Gorman, Terry Gill, Marieke Hardy and Mike Bishop.
NB: I’m keen to run further info on this Reunion for readers. If you were in attendance and have a photo or more info please get in touch via the Contact page.

@ Allie…yeah good point, having re-read it, it could mean 25 years since it finished…
Could be The Flying Doctors if it’s not Neighbours or The Henderson Kids.
It does sound like Neighbours.
Although I’d love a Restless Years or Young Doctors reunion.
@roaring Dave, yes, they all started well before ’85, but David’s post is vague. It could be read as starting in ’85 or finishing in ’85 (“to mark 25 years since it aired” – that’s pretty ambiguous. Neighbours started in ’85, so it could certainly be the show. I’m also thinking it could be Fast Forward, that started around that time.
It won’t be Neighbours, channel 7 or 9 won’t run a story that promotes viewing on another network. My money is on Henderson Kids (well I’m hoping it is because of the lovely Nadine Garner and Ben Mendelsohn)
Here’s one out of the box – Primetime!
1986 from memory 🙂 hehe
Prisoner.
The Henderson Kids. Jane Hall mentioned attending a reunion get together when she was on The Circle yesterday.
The Eleventh Hour, the show that spawned The Comedy Company and Fast Forward, went to air in ’85.
More likely to be Neighbours, though.

Gonna put on my thinking cap here. How about:-
Return to Eden
The Young Doctors
The Restless Years
Young Talent Time”
Goog guesses but all these started before 1985.
I’m saying it’s Neighbours cause it started in 85 and has discovered some talent…Kylie, Guy Pearce, Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem etc.
Gonna put on my thinking cap here. How about:-
Return to Eden
The Young Doctors
The Restless Years
Young Talent Time
Why aren’t Seven doing some proper specials for these reunions? A Country Practice could have easily spanned an hour or two, plus there is the cross-over to Home and Away with Georgie Parker and Shane WIthington. Then we could have Peter Phelps and Ally Fowler helping Rowena Wallace look for a house in a Sons and Daughters special.
Ten is really missing out by not having an outlet for the likes of Neighbours, Henderson Kids and E Street reunions. Or can Negus go a bit low brow?
The Henderson Kids.
mulligrubs?
The Henderson Kids
@Xander – I don’t think anything in the article suggests it is 25 years since the show ‘wrapped up’. It says 25 years since it aired. So the show could have commenced 25 years ago… 1985/1986….
I’m with Dean by suggesting Neighbours.
Sale-they would have been their 30 th anniversay last year (it ran fot 21 years actually).
The Flying Doctors?
Neighbours and The Henderson Kids started in 1985, also The Flying Doctors, I think the original miniseries was 1985.
Sullivans?
New Faces?
Clearly no one cares.
This’ll be interesting… according to Wikipedia (yes, I know, so sue me) the 3 Aussie shows that wrapped up in 1985 were Possession (series with David Reyne and Alan Dale, only lasted a year), The Gillies Report (Gillies, Clarke and Harmer—what more can I say) and The Mike Walsh Show… I’d bet on the latter, but who ever believes Wikipedia, right?! 😛
incudes Sale,Hey Hey,exc
Neighbours?
