Tonight 7mate begins the Will Ferrell-produced HBO comedy Eastbound & Down.
It stars Danny McBride as a former professional baseball pitcher who is forced to return to his hometown as a substitute physical education teacher.
So far two seasons have aired on Pay TV and a third has been renewed.
It begins 10pm Tuesday May 31st on 7mate.

And… it was awful. The sharp, incisive, dark humour of Nurse Jackie was in stark contrast with the dull, ponderous kludge of this. Didn’t realise John Hawkes from Deadwood was in it but it didn’t help.
Season 3 is the last series
Good time. That’ll slot in nicely after Nurse Jackie.

It’ll be so censored as to almost be unrecognisable.
Danny McBride is hilarious in this show. Will Ferrell’s cameo appearances as the car salesman Ashley Schaeffer are also bloody funny. Any word if they’ll be going straight into Season 2 given the first season is only 6 episodes?
