More Presenters for ASTRA Awards

More stars have been announced as Presenters at subscription television’s 9th Annual ASTRA Awards this Thursday night.

Claudia Karvan, Justine Clarke, Stephen Curry, Geoff Morrell, Lincoln Lewis, Brenton Thwaites and Ben Schumann will all present awards.

Karvan is a three time ASTRA Award winner and finalist in the Most Outstanding Performance category for her role in Spirited. Justine Clarke is also a finalist for the Most Outstanding Performance (Female) for Tangle, which she won last year.

Cloudstreet actors Stephen Curry and Geoff Morrell aren’t eligible for the drama this year, but will doubtless enjoy the acclaim as one of Pay TV’s jewels in the crown in 2011.

Lincoln Lewis, Brenton Thwaites and Ben Schumann all appear in the upcoming teen drama SLiDE, which will premiere on FOX8 on August 16.

Also presenting are Charlotte Dawson, Alex Perry, Craig Reucassel, Lizzy Lovette, Amanda Bishop, Dick Whitaker and previously announced faces including Sarah Murdoch, Laura Dundovic, Peter Maddison, Andrew Winter, Sarah Wilson, Tori Bailey, Erin McNaught, Danny Clayton, Kieran Gilbert and Luke & Wyatt.

The 9th Annual ASTRA Awards will take place on Thursday at Sydney Theatre with highlights to air next week.
