Seven will premiere Pawn Stars, a USÂ observational series about a family pawn shop operated by Richard Harrison and his sons.
The series produced by the History Channel sees customers haggling over the price of artifacts.
It will premiere at 8:30pm Thursday August 11th, preceded by a special: WWII Lost Films: The Air War.
“Knights In Fake Armor? / Boom Or Bust”
See inside the doors of a family-run pawnshop in Las Vegas, where three generations of men from the Harrison family run the business, with clashing and camaraderie every step of the way. In tonight’s premiere episode, a jousting helmet from medieval times brought into the shop may actually be worth a lot of money. Also, a man comes in hoping to sell his 1884 trapdoor rifle. Then, Rick is appraising 19th-century cannon to determine whether or not he wants it, but decides to test fire it first. A woodworker comes in to pawn his table saw; and a man wishes to sell a replica of Roman armour.
As a result Law and Order: LA moves to 9:30pm with a double episode.
Off The Map moves to 11:30pm and Young, Dumb And Living Off Mum to 12:30am.

What happened to the Pawn Stars series? Has season 1 ended or has it be canned from 7mate?
What happened to pawn stars? one week and its canned to 7mate. This was the best show I watched last week, and I was looking forward to watching it this week. As I only get gwn7 I cant watch this show now. Aaaargh so angry, everyone I talked to liked this show, so its male viewing, and maybe the females tuned out, but I tune out when the mrs watches all her crap home and away, and the other junk on gwn, so for me to have one show i sit down and watch each week and get the tv to myself, its now been taken off for Criminal Minds! Of all the crap they could replace it with!

I despair that this is considered appropriate prime time material. It is the kind of thing that should be on a secondary channel at 3:00am.
