Seven has dropped Law and Order: LA from Thursday nights but will keep the show playing on Wednesdays.
Last night it pulled 259,000 viewers (however it played a half hour later in the Melbourne market), while The Footy Show was 790,000. With Shane Warne and Harry Kewell on the AFL Footy Show, Nine’s show was about twice the audience in Melbourne than the NRL edition was in Sydney.
On Wednesday night Law & Order: LA was a healthier 593,000 which is where Seven has opted to leave it.
Of course next week Seven’s Thursday is changing anyway with Four Weddings and Beauty & the Geek but it will now replace Law & Order: LA with double ep replays of How I Met Your Mother, following on the comedic thread of Geek.

@ Jen13. My EPG was correct for L&O. You may want to check that.
Agree with Craig – at least it’s somewhere, if it were Nine or Ten it would never be seen again!
I don’t care when or if they show it.
I watched my recording of it on Wednesday night, only to find the end missing.
Before starting to watch the Thursday recording I checked the end and it was chopped short too.
I was in time to add +20mins to the recording of Off The Map, but even so only just got the ending by a few seconds.
Good-bye 7, I’ll be finding the rest elsewhere from now on.
Learn to schedule properly you dolts.
Even my iQ only recorded half of The X Factor and it has a permanent +20. As I’m in Melbourne and there were changes impacted by AFL I wonder if the Foxtel EPG didn’t adjust. Frustrating.
At least Seven is showing it, if this was on Nine then it would have been gone in the first few weeks.
Why do they keep the NRL Footy show around? Gave up on that unfunny dreck years ago.
Oh well, it’s an axed series anyway
