Nine’s recycle theory on Big Bang

Big Bang Theory overtakes Two and a Half Men as Nine's most recycled comedy this year.

As of yesterday The Big Bang Theory had overtaken Two and a Half Men as Nine’s most recycled comedy this year.

The Chuck Lorre sitcom has played 341 episodes across Nine and GO! with 339 of the other Chuck Lorre sitcom.

Might have to start calling it The Big Bang for your Buck.

  1. I would watch 9 again if a Sale/Temptation reboot was initiated. Thats one program 9 did exceptionally well. Unfortunately 9 programmers have got no clue, they are like the Labor party. They dont listen to the people, they have lost their way, and as a result are an embaressment on the Australian TV landscape. Their onscreen colours/feel/graphics feel like we are in a 1970’s timewarp, theor programs are embaressing- acurrent affair, farmer want a root, same name anyone? Even their voice over people for their promos are just horrible to listen to. Nine news feels like its exclusively made for the over 90’s age group. Horrible sets, horrible graphics, junior cadet reporters with no credibility. But thats their problem. Bring back Sale!!!

  2. Wow – doesn’t anyone else think this show is totally overrated. Ive given it so many goes with an open mind but its just not funny. The characters are stereotyped and uninteresting. 2.5 men has more laughs.

  3. sale of the century/temptation/price is right or even a Karl/Leila News/Chat show needs to come along for 2012 for the times of the year when the Block is not shown.American filler like this is costing them dearly up against 7 and 10 at the same time of night.

  4. it could be a lot worse.Instead of Big Bang Theory or 2.5 men They Gasp Horror start showing the Sullivan’s again at that hour. Can you imagine instead of a feel good sitcom up against Home and Away or 7pm project having to watch a show about an average Melbourne Middle Class family and the effects world war 2 had on their lives oh the Horror give me sheldon and the other geeks anytime over that
