Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O. will return to television next week.

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O. will return to television next week.

They last appeared as a hosting pair on Big Brother in 2008, but while Sandilands has proven successful as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent, Seven will test their popularity with a variety special next week.

“I’ve been whingeing to television executives that a lot of these shows are missing a little razzamatazz,” Kyle told News Limited.

“So we better bring it.”

Kyle and Jackie O’s Night with the Stars will premiere at 9.30pm on November 21.

  1. Another “what happened to my TV” moment. I still can’t work out what Kylie’s talent is. With Jackie Oh! it’s obvious, she’s a hatrack; However Kyles just vile & bile really.

  2. They make out they are the show “breakfast with the stars” but the only people they can get are people like Sophie Monk, Lindsay Lohan & The Kardashians!

The show will be a lineup of D-list celebrities, you mark my words. Rove is doing better than him.

  3. I’m looking forward to this show. I’m a big fan of Kyle and I quite like Jackie O too. The reason their hosting of Big Brother didn’t work was because Big Brother was on it’s last legs anyway, no-one could have saved it !

  4. Usually i would say no way no way but these guys are in their element and that is in a studio talking to people. They do it every day on the radio. I think this could do well. I won’t judge it until i have seen it. If i watch and i hate it then i will tell you. I am looking forward to this though because we don’t have a show like this on fta atm. I know we have Rove LA on FOX8 which is brilliant but will see.

  5. As i said when news of a Kyle & Jackie O tv special was posted on TVTonight several weeks ago, i would rather watch paint dry. And i invite others to do the same, as it will be far more rewarding than putting up with those two. Either that or spotting the tumbleweed rolling past the window.

  6. Sure they have a national radio show at nights but their popular morning show is only based in Sydney. Who at Seven thinks they’ll have an appeal nation wide??
