Elisabeth Hasselbeck vs Bill Maher

The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck puts Bill Maher in the firing line.

It’s (probably) been a while since The View‘s Elisabeth Hasselbeck took a guest to task, but Bill Maher has been put in the firing line when she hassel-ed him over being the punchline to one of his own gags.

You can check it out on the video.

Watch for Barbara Walters’ ‘bawawawawa moment.’

…..and Whoopi almost got a word in too.

  1. David – Do you know why GEM don’t run The View when 9 has sport on? Ellen is on at 5pm, so why not have The View on at 4pm on the day’s 9 can’t show it.

  2. I am a woman, you do not speak “on behalf of all women” and you certainly do no speak on behalf of me, you ignorant, right-wing imbecile. How dare she ambush him like that, on a comment he made Before Logan was attacked. Out of context, alarmist, hysterical, populist twaddle – much like Republican policy. Oh, that’s when their candidates can actually remember their policies…what was that third one again?

And this woman has kids/millions of viewers/a very public soapbox? A frightening thought.

  3. I agree that Hasselbeck is very tightly wound. I find her shrill and borderline hysterical most of the time. How she got herself onto a show like The View is a mystery to me as she is not an academic, comedian, journalist, political pundit or anything of note. She is there to be the token far-right Republican on a panel full of lefty liberals. What she did with Bill Maher yesterday was so hopelessly unprofessional. Could she not have taken this up with him off-camera? No, she had to make the segment all about herself and her wounded ego from a comment he made almost a year ago. Disgraceful, she deserves the fallout this incident has created.
