Julia Morris wins Celebrity Apprentice 2011

Julia Morris wins Celebrity Apprentice -and graciously splits the prize money with Jason Coleman's charity.

Julia Morris has won Celebrity Apprentice.

She defeated Team Ignite team-mate  Jason Coleman.

Morris won $100,000 for her chosen charity, National Breast Foundation but asked Mark Bouris to split the money with Coleman’s charity, the Song Room.

Team Unity’s Jesinta Campbell and Shane Crawford lost the final challenge after failing to include a phone number for Bouris’ finance company Yellow Brick Road on their printed materials.

Morris later said, “The Celebrity Apprentice was one of the most fun, exhausting, rewarding, confronting, insane and profoundly positive life-changing experiences I have ever had.

“I dedicate this win to my childhood friend, the glorious Sarah Kong, who lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this year. I know Sarah would have laughed non-stop at the ongoing silliness on the show and been blown away by the amount of money Mr Bouris and the rest of the cast helped me raise.

“Over $160,000 has been handed over to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, who will use the money for research to help rid the planet of this disgusting disease that is stealing the lives of our friends and family.”

The final episode also included heated exchanges between Deni Hines and Jesinta Campbell including boss Mark Bouris accusing her of derailing her team and a prize for charity.

But in a surprising twist Hines talked up Campbell’s skills as “one to watch.” It may have been too little too late for the singer who has endured an avalanche of criticism following her outbursts in the series.

The Nine series has proven to be a hit for Nine and made significant impacts to the way audiences resonate with their “brand.”

Nine followed the finale with a trailer for 2012 including with Celebrity Apprentice already in the mix.

  1. Why can’t we just have a “normal” The Apprentice next year? The ‘celebrities’ are nobodies anyway and it’s a lot more interesting when the contestants are actually competing for their own future…

  2. 2012 trailer was great, the two biggest standouts for me were Big Brother Secrets officially advertised on 9 for the first time, as well as confirmation (of sorts, by way of naming it as a return show) that Underbelly will return for 2012!

  3. No 2012 trailer in Tassie either!

And never trust Facebook spoilers when cliff-hangers like that are happening lol. About three minutes before I found out for sure that Julia Morris was the winner here in Tasmania, a Facebook post from someone that appeared to be watching from Nine in Sydney or Melbourne said something along the lines of “Congratulations Julia! You deserve it!”, Spoiler Alert much!

  4. Well deserved and a class act! As the model guy said, all the challenges she project managed had all won. Congrats!

Fiona O’loughlin to star in Celebrity Apprentice 2012. Do it Nine!

Nine’s trailer for 2012 was soo good.. up until Eddie at the end. Also why wasn’t Sonia included since she’s the new prodigal child of the network? KAK missing as well

  5. Those posters were for inside the Y.B.R branches. If you are already in the branch, why do you need the phone number. I think the phone number was an excuse to Fire Shane’s team. Bouris had his mind made up already. Good on Julia, Well deserved. Glad Jason didn’t win!

  6. I thought it was funny that Jesinta and Shane got “fired” for not including the phone number in their Commercial…….and in the next commercial break was an ad for YBR that didn’t have a phone number….

That being said i Love JMo!!!!! And soooooooo glad she won!!!!

  7. I was not fussed on watching the Aussie version because my wife loves mr bouris and I did not think he could beat the don.
But it was a fantastic four weeks. Well done Julia. I suppose we will never see you at revesby workers club anymore!!!! And what a classy act sharing the winners cheque.
