Julia Morris would be a pretty perfect solution to the vacancies on The Circle.
After her rise in Celebrity Apprentice Australia, the comedienne is today tipped to be making the switch from Nine to TEN.
The Circle will be without both Chrissie Swan and Denise Drysdale next year.
Jane Kennedy, whom many readers tipped as a good choice was reportedly considered but couldn’t come to an agreement with TEN. Even Nine’s Livinia Nixon is also on the rumour list.
A TEN spokeswoman told the Herald Sun no decisions had been made.
“It’s really too early to say,” she said. “We are certainly looking for another person to sit on the couch with Yumi and Gorgi in 2012.”
Does this also mean the show will settle on three regulars, possible with a rotating fourth guest host. Makes sense from here.
Meanwhile last month Julia Morris told TV Tonight she would be spending the next 12 months with her family in Australia to maximise from renewed interest.
“Every single network has been on the phone, and I’m like ‘When did mummy come back into fashion?’ You could barely get a bloody raised eyebrow (before) then all of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh really…?’”
“I told Channel Nine I’d host everything next year –the News, A Current Affair, everything!
“Just spread more rumours about how I’m being hired for everything! Make everyone nervous! I’m going to be Ryan Seacrest by the end of the week.”

I thought I was the only one that thought Julia Morris was annoying and pretentious but as there seemingly are others I will post my comment and just hope she sticks with the Network for one reason or another I very rarely visit ,with the exception of GO.

Julia should co-host Dancing with the Stars instead.
I reckon Livinia Nixon would be perfect actually. She has a nice personality and I think Julia Morris would be great to and I think she could be a cross between Denise and Chrissie because she is funny but she may be to loud and the others wont get a word in. But Liviniais the soft spoken type.
But if they did go for Julia I wouldnt be disappointed. She would provide a lugh and she can also be serious.
Jan Murray and Prue MacSween would be great on the show.
Julia Morris would probably suit the tone of ACA’s stories quite well
Judith Lucy would be alot better..Her series on God and religion on ABC was fantastic
If TEN couldn’t come up with the funds to keep Chrissie on board or have Jane commit then how does it make sense for them to have the money Julia could very easily command??

if she is really in that much demand The circle would surely be at the bottom of her preferences. the ratings for that sho are very small. she should end up in a primetime role.
don’t like the idea of a rotating guest host, the regulars take so many days off the whole panel seems to already be rotating hosts.
I’ve met Julia a few times and she has a great mind. Not only does she have rapier sharp and lightning quick wit, she has a depth of general knowledge that suits discussion across a broad range. She’s a great choice. Unfortunately I won’t be home in the day to watch it.
I’m probably in the minority, but for me a little of Julia goes a long, long way.
Hours of her daily? No thank you.
I think Julia is hilarious – she just has the X factor of funny for me. I think three hosts is plenty, maybe the occasional fourth – but only if it’s someone cool, for a day (visiting OS celebrity etc).
Or, here’s an idea out of left field: open up the fourth host spot to an ordinary member of the public, say, every Friday. They would need screening, obviously, but it could be good.

Julia Morris will be perfect for the Circle. Not only is she a total crack up, she also has a soft serious side. I remember her years ago on Beauty and the Beast and she often cried when certain topics upset her. Questions must be asked about Network talent scouts that they have just discovered Julia Morris. She really is our number 1 funny lady and i cannot help but think if she was male she would not of had to leave Australia to find work.
Why is this woman considered funny?
Her whole act comprises of “tell a lame joke pull a stupid face.. tell a lame joke, pull a stupid face. Reapeat over n over again”
Whats the big deal about The Circle? It rates less than KAK right? If she does that show she will have missed the mark I think. Also anyone who refers to them self as mummy is a freak.

No offense to the circle team here but… I think Julia and Lavinia are too good for this show. Although getting them in would be an absolute coup.
