In April SBS will show the Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix and, for the first time, Liege-Bastogne-Liege live on SBS ONE.

2011 Tour de France winner Cadel Evans is expected to compete in the Liege-Bastogne-Liege while Australia’s first professional cycling team, GreenEDGE, is set to race the Tour of Flanders. 2008 Paris-Roubaix winner and GreenEDGE rider Stuart O’Grady will be looking for his second Paris-Roubaix victory.

“The global evolution of professional cycling continues to gain momentum and likewise, SBS continues to grow its broadcast of cycling’s big races,” says Michael Tomalaris, host of SBS’s cycling coverage. “The European Spring Classics are a significant part of the world cycling calendar and with so many Australian riders in the mix, it is sure to make for compelling viewing.”
