Next week the Today show celebrates its 30th anniversary with a week-long celebration.
Monday, September 17: the story of Today.
Tuesday, September 18: Today: “On The Road”.
Wednesday, September 19: Today: “The Big Stories”.
Thursday, September 20: Today: “Bloopers”
Friday, September 21: We hear from some of the former hosts live on the show, including Steve Liebmann, Sue Kellaway, Tracy Grimshaw, Monte Dwyer and Sarah Murdoch.
Other notable names who deserve to be acknowledged include Liz Hayes, George Negus, Patricia Newell, Brian Bury (especially Brian Bury), Ian Ross, Eric Walters and Sharyn Ghidella. I’m guessing Jessica Rowe won’t be part of the look back…
Anyone who gets up at that hour every week to make telly deserves a medal. Or at least something from the Channel Nine bar.

Surely they have enough footage for a week long fest of Karl & Ben being infantile & crude.
I was under the impression that Sharyn Ghidella was an employee for the Seven Network in Brisbane.
It’s Patrice.
What about Sarah Murdoch?…Oh wait
SM is listed for Friday.
I think you’ll find it is ‘Patrice’ rather than Patrica Newell, David. I could be wrong though.
They deserve a medal for putting up with Karl
