  1. @Guy, that’s beacuse Ten took NCIS off months ago with only several eps to go. I gave up on waiting for Ten to finish it. I’ve said the same thing as original. Ten need to fasttrack all the new shows.
Sunday – Homeland, Monday – Modern Family, New Girl, Glee. Tuesday – NCIS, NCIS LA, Hawaii Five 0, Wednesday – The Good Wife. Thurs – Law & Order SVU

Fasttrack them, and show them on time. That is what the viewers want, that is what will bring them back to the network. That is also what will set Ten apart from the rest.

I don’t understand why all the networks don’t fastrack the US shows from Sept – April, and then when they all finish in April launch all the Aussie shows then.

  2. Are TEN promoing Hawaii 5 O ? Please respect the audience and run the series to the death despite ratings…keep it out of prime time and in a 10.30 slot and play it out!

  3. If TEN want to lift their ratings they are going to need to fasttrack all of their US content. NCIS, The Good Wife, Glee, Modern Family, New Girl, Homeland, the list goes on.

It will go some way in giving confidence back to viewers and hopefully see loyal ones return. Now just keep the EPG up-to-date and have the shows start on time, its not rocket science, its what the audience is crying for.

  4. Can’t wait to see Homeland and i hope the viewers flock back to it but personally if i were TEN i would have held off as much new content as possible when it comes to fast-tracking. Nothing is working for them. Don’t get me wrong, fast-tracking is the way to go but where TEN is at the moment its a huge huge risk. Just look at NCIS. 550k for new episodes.

  5. David. I know Ten has to fast track most if not all these US Series given their failure’s recently, but what will be left for next year ?

How many episodes will be gone before they race into 2013 in your opinion ?

  6. That’s great news about Homeland. I hope they get the ratings to make it clear to them what people really want to watch (which, for the majority, is not utter rubbish like The Shire). IIRC, last season it pretty much started on time, too – that would prob have also helped ratings-wise.

  7. Good to see TEN fasttracking – it needs to be done with all popular shows these days.

I hope they leave it in the one timeslot and let the series run from ep1 to ep 12.

  8. No date for new series of American Horror Story season 2 on FX? That is starting in October sometime isn’t it? No news on if that will be fast-tracked-ish again on Eleven?

  9. Didn’t TEN scrap Hawaii five-o with 2 episodes to go in series 2. Are they going to show them. This is one of the shows they stuffed up by moving it around. A great show starring an Aussie.

  10. Some people are saying they got info in their inbox stating that the last 2 eps from season 2 will be shown (no dates)… but these folk say they missed 3 and if they won’t see all 3 they will simply get the DVD instead. Anyway, they say ‘after NCIS’ which has two weeks to go. It was a Sept. 28 start last year or round that.

  11. Good news about Homeland – they should slap series 1 on as a refresher before the end of the month…

Hope TEN makes the same decision with the return of The Good Wife.

(Knew Craig would be excited about Parenthood)…

  12. Grimm’s already started. 4 episodes in, think it’s just taking a break for a few weeks.

Sunday Sept 30 is gonna be big. Once Upon A Time, Amazing Race, Revenge, Homeland, Good Wife, Dexter.

Ten’s been advertising they’re fasttracking Hawaii Five O.

Of the new shows i’m most looking forward to Ben & Kate, Mindy Project, Revolution and Elementary. 1st ep of The New Normal was good, but not as good as i hoped.

  13. Great news that Homeland will be fast tracked, but expected.
TEN should position itself as the home of quality drama.
But please give programs a chance. If I remember correctly, Law & Order and NYPD Blue took awhile to catch on.
