If you’ve managed to avoid all the internet spoilers for How I Met Your Mother you don’t have much longer to wait.
The episode in which the “mother” is revealed will screen in Australia this month.
This will air as a double episode season finale “Something Old / Something New” at 9:30pm on Tuesday July 30th.
This will end eight seasons of speculation as to her identity.
A ninth and final season begins in the US in September.

What spoilers?
They showed the end at the beginning of the season as foreshadowing and they have been foreshadowing bits of it. like that Ted meets her at the wedding, since the season before.
So what if some unknown actress, who hasn’t done anything I have seen, is the woman under the yellow umbrella?
Meh. Stopped watching like 2 seasons ago.
I found out the who back in May, with the rest of the civilized world. Wonder if ch7 will fast track the final season?
I Predict that Monday July 29, The X Factor will have a 2 Hour Season Premiere and the Second Episode airing on July 31.
There’s not really anything to spoil apart from her picture. The mother is unknown to loyal viewers, apart from a few clues that have been given to us over the years
Waited so long for it to be shown I couldn’t avoid finding out online. Fast tracking is the way to go for the networks or risk losing viewers all together.
Seven or Arena?
Been waiting for this for far too long! Although I saw her picture on this website, I can’t wait to see the related episode. Thanks Seven for airing the remaining of the season each week in roughly the same timeslot!
But I don’t think they have finished season 8
