Australia’s happiest refugee is back with two more travel specials for Seven, this time heading way, way north to Scandinavia (Denmark and Sweden) and Iceland to discover the Nordic secret to happiness.
Anh’s quest takes him from the magnificent Scandinavian wilderness to the vibrant capitals of Stockholm and Copenhagen, before heading north to the land of fire and ice, Iceland.
Along the way, Anh tries their Viking-age games; tastes unique local delicacies; learns the secrets of good health; battles the elements; and has fun with some extraordinary locals who call the top of the world their home.
Beyond the breathtaking natural beauty of these countries, Anh’s journey will reveal the powerful influence of the Vikings over these resilient people and their secrets to leading a happy life.
Anh Does Scandinavia and Anh Does Iceland follow Seven’s top rating two-part specials, Anh Does Vietnam in 2012 and Anh Does Britain in 2013.
The Anh Does… series of specials are produced in-house by Seven Productions. Seven’s Paul Melville is Director and Executive Producer.
Anh Does Scandinavia – 8.30pm, Thursday February 27 on Seven
Anh Does Iceland – 8.30pm, Thursday March 6 on Seven

@Mr. J – you’re mistaken because if you had checked you would’ve seen that Scandinavia is Sweden, Norway, and Denmark only. Perhaps you were confusing the term with ‘Nordic Countries’ which does include Iceland?
Great to see something more competitive on a Thursday night.
Anh is fantastic and so funny really good at what he does, he’s great to watch.
@billy66683 7.30pm is the second ep of Home and Away, at 8.00pm its Border Security
Anh is great talent. These shows aren’t groundbreaking but combine a great host with beautiful scenery and you get something that’s more watchable than the comedy snark of the project / this week live. I’d put Hamish and Andy in the same category. They’re not reinventing the wheel but there is a sense of positivity and enthusiasm about these shows. Certainly more interesting than watching cooking or people hammering nails.
Last I checked Iceland is in Scandinavia.
Why does this not start at 7:30? What is on instead at that time?
