US / Canadian sci-fi series Defiance, which screened on Foxtel last year, will  travel to Seven next week.
The series, starring Aussie Grant Bowler, is set in a future Earth scenario where aliens and humans must co-exist on the same planet.
It also features Julie Benz (Amanda Rosewater), Stephanie Leonidas (Irisa), Tony Curran (Datak Tarr), Jaime Murray (Stahma Tarr), Graham Greene (Rafe McCawley) and Mia Kirshner (Kenya).
The show has already been renewed for a second season.
Set in the year 2046, Defiance introduces an exotically transformed planet Earth following the sudden – and tumultuous – arrival of seven unique alien races. In this somewhat unpredictable landscape, a diverse and newly-formed civilization of humans and aliens must learn to co-exist peacefully.
10:45pm 12th February on Seven.

Really like this show. I would have thought 7mate would have been a better fit though but i suppose pairing it with S.H.I.E.L.D. is not a bad idea seeing as they are in the same genre.
Gee, Grant Bowler gets around. And he’s as Aussie as Russell Crowe.
This is most surprising.
I wonder if they ever considered airing it on a multichannel.
10:45pm, thank god that has already run on Pay TV at a decent time and not months after the US.
