“I remember walking that way (towards his apartment balcony) and I did it a couple of times … I kept walking towards it and I thought ‘just open the door, man up, do that stuff’ … but there must have been something, a little light in the back of my head said ‘get control and go and wake up (partner) Kenny’”.

Describing his lows, Boland says: “you question everything including your own validity and you end up feeling immensely trapped by your own mind and you just want to escape.”

  2. Adam. we need you desperatly back to television. There are very few people that have the passion for TV such as you. It’s really sad that depression has taken you away from us. Please come back when youre well. Australian Story tonight really showed me just the passion that you have.

  3. I actually owe Adam an apology for some gags I submitted to this blog when he was very much in the middle of a tug-of-war between 7 & 10.

“I have it on good authority…” probably wore out its welcome very quickly to some who knew Adam and the troubles he was having.

Apologies Adam – I hope you recover and soar to higher goals.

    David.

  4. Having Adam talk about Bi polar could be very confusing for most, but I get it. He is high functioning and very intelligent, a breeding ground,so to speak for this illness. It is manageable with medication and real work and honesty.I do know that Adam hasn’t always kept to the strict life code of staying on his meds and that is where the problem lies. I hope now without all those heavy projects weighing on him, he can focus on his health and find the happiness he deserves.
